Chris McClure

Since qualifying from Plymouth School of Podiatry in 1989, Chris has worked privately in the treatment of sportsmen and women at Exeter University, with Marines at Norton Manor Marine Camp, and elite sportsmen at Somerset County Cricket Club.

Chris has interests in all aspects of Podiatry, but a special interest and experience in Biomechanics, gait analysis, the manufacture and issue of custom-made orthoses for the treatment of lower limb symptoms, as well as nail surgery.

Chris manufacturers all the bespoke orthoses/insoles he issues and believes this is an important part of maintaining the quality of patient care.  Advantages include quick turn-around times, easy and quick adjustments and a knowledge of suitability of devices that can only come with manufacturing experience. He is keen that a multi-disciplinary approach is vital in the use of bio-mechanical therapies and relishes the chance of working closely with the skills inherent in the highest standards of physiotherapy and osteopathy.

Chris works at the clinic on a Tuesday.
